Spies in the Atomic Age Larry Schofer received his Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Berkeley. He taught at the University of Pennsylvania in the 1970s and later had several employment careers. His last career was as a translator of legal, technical, and medical documents into English from French, German, Polish, and Hebrew.
