The Science and Arts Club of Germantown executive team is comprised of members who meet once per quarter and manage the operation and direction of the club. The team serves for a renewable, 2-year term.  Please inquire if you would like to join the executive team.  We welcome your interest, help, and camaraderie.

David Genszler

president

David manages the executive team,  authors club correspondence and leads the monthly meetings.

David grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and went to the Rochester lnstitute of Technology to study graphic arts and photography. He found his true calling in graduate school at the Lutheran Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. As the Reverend Dr. David Genszler, he has served as clergy for 50 years with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. His myriad interests include classical music, classical jazz, American playwrights, environmental concerns, and Lionel model trains.

Anne Hagele

Anne solicits and facilitates the introduction of new members to the club.

Anne works as a non-profit management consultant and serves on a number of Boards of Directors.  In addition to Science and Art Club of Germantown, she is active in East Falls Village and a political action committee. Anne retired from a profession in the field of aging.  As Director of Philadelphia Senior Center she specialized in non-profit management, fundraising and providing services to older people.  She graduated from Goucher College and has a Masters degree from Bryn Mawr College

Ken Kolodzeij

programming

Ken works with hosts and presenters to develop programs consistent with the club’s high expectations.

Former army captain, consultant and owner of K.J.K. Associates, Ken resides in East Falls with his wife Anne. Over the last 20 years, he developed Roots to Re-entry, a program for returning citizens as well as organic farms throughout the city.

Lawrence Souder

Lawrence manages the club’s database, sends all correspondence, and monitors attendance for each event. He also created and manages the club’s Youtube channel.

Lawrence has been a show-and-tell artist since elementary school. As a professional show-and-tell artist, he taught technical and science writing and editing to graduate and undergraduate students at Drexel University.
